Imigambi y’ Imana

(Prepare to obey)

(The plans of God)

Satani yayobeje

Sogokuruza wacu,

Amuteg’ ikigoyi,

Maz’ amuta mu rwobo

(Satan deceived)

(Our forefather,)

(He set a trap for him,)

(And led him into the pit)

Tumukurikir’ ubgo,

Twibagirw’ Uwiteka,

Tugwa mu minyururu

Uko muri, mwitabe,

Mwakir’ Umucunguzi!

(Now, you sinners,)

(Poor and rich,)

(As you are, receive Him,)
