This is the Aaronic blessing **Numbers 6:24-26**
- **Ashimangire amaso ye kukurikira** — literally "may He make His eyes follow/shine upon you" — capturing the warmth of the original Hebrew *ya'er panav* (make His face light up toward you)
- **Ari ku ruhande rwawe** for "He is for you" — carries both *beside you* and *on your side* — a fuller rendering than just proximity
- **Mu kwinjira no mu gusohoka** — echoes **Psalm 121:8** — *"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore"*
